Student Input in the Classroom

Classroom Rules

Student Created Rubric

So when I am grading their Projects w/ self-reflection, I’m Able to simplify each category Into the 5 C’s and put a score. This also allows me to write More comments that I would On a copied rubric.

Art Criticism Anchor Charts O Students were placed into table groups. O Assigned a step of art criticism O 1 st they had to use the textbook. O 2 nd : they were allowed to use their tech to look up more information O Each table had to create a poster w/ the essential information & make it visually intersting. O Each class voted on which posters were the best.

Anchor Charts

Charts in the Room These are handing so that all students in the classroom can see them As a reference. I used the bright colors to help direct their attention.

What’s Coming Up? O Students requested a monthly calendar of what’s scheduled. This is simply placed on the large bulletin board in my room. It has project due dates, upcoming reviews & tests. O I have a student (Sgt. Of the Guard) take care of this.
