Land Posts and International Highway Transport Routes in Xinjiang 14 land posts with neighboring central Asian countries: 7 with Kazakhstan, 2 with Kyrgyzstan 1 with Pakistan, 4 with Mongolia 26 highway routes for cargo transport 27 highway routes for passenger transport

Investment in Highway Transport Infrastructure in Xinjiang 80 million USD in rehabilitation of 1754km highways connecting land posts 1.5 billion USD in construction of two truck routes: Urumqi-kashi and Urumqi- Yining expressway

Cooperation with Central Asian Countries in Transport Infrastructure Construction 60 million RMB aid to rehabilitate the road connecting China, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in Kyrgyzstan further cooperation under discussion
