Title Subtitle (Your Scientific Question)

Question or Purpose Statement describing why you chose to research this topic. Include what your variables and controls were. (Remember, only one aspect of your experiment should vary. Everything else should be the same.) Hypothesis State your hypothesis.

Procedure Describe in detail how you conducted your experiment. List your procedures in a step-by-step way that could be duplicated by someone else without any help.

Materials List the items that you used for your experiment (bulleted list)

Data Include data collected during your experiment. You may include data in the form of spreadsheets, graphs, etc.

Photos, Diagrams, Graphics You may include photos from your experiment (not including your face). You may also choose to include other drawings, graphics, etc. If you include graphics that is not original, you must provide source citations.

Results Include a statement explaining the outcome of your experiment and whether or not your hypothesis was correct. (Remember, your hypothesis does not have to be correct in order to have a successful project.)

Conclusion Include a statement sharing information about how you felt that your experiment turned out. Tell about any problems or unexpected outcomes. Also explain what you would do differently if you replicated (repeated) your original experiment.

Bibliography/References Include source citations in APA format for all research sources and any graphics that are not original.
