Science Fair Due dates: September 19 th (changed to Monday, September 22 nd ) Blank rough draft layout of data table Science journal check #2 (at least 10 entries) Experimental design

Science Fair Data Collection A rough draft of the data table should be drawn before the experiment is conducted so data (BOTH quantitative and qualitative) can be recorded accurately and neatly. The data table on the next slide is provided as an example since the experiment you run will depend upon your variables and will be different.

Guidelines 1. Label each data table with a number and title. 2. Each column should have a heading with units. 3. All 5+ trials for each group should be recorded. 4. The average for the trials in each group should be calculated.
