OBJECTIVES 1.Physically attractive downtown 2.Welcoming atmosphere with friendly ambassadors who are highly visible and knowledgeable 3.Excellent customer service 4.Employment opportunities for Detroit residents, including those with barriers to employment 5.Reliable reporting that demonstrates value 6.A trusted resource for DDP and other organizations 7.Prudent stewardship of BIZ assessment revenues 8.Implementation of environmentally sustainable practices 9.Service deployment in an expert and professional manner

GUIDING PRINCIPLES FOR VENDOR SELECTION 1.BASE LEVEL EXPERIENCE Experience delivering high quality cleaning services and hospitality ambassador programs in public/ private pedestrian environments similar to Downtown Detroit 2.DETROIT FOCUS Experience and/or commitment to buy local, employ Detroit residents and utilize training programs targeted to those with barriers to employment 3.CUSTOMER SERVICE FOCUS High-level customer service/teamwork focus and effective service measurement/feedback system 4.COST EFFECTIVENESS Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality services in a cost competitive manner 5.INNOVATION & FLEXIBILITY Utilize national best practices; flexibility to respond to evolving client requirements
