Significant Changes  Leadership Training is now Training  Rider Education and Training are a part of the New University  Membership Enhancement is not a part of the University  ALL seminars are moved to the University

Significant Changes  Rider Education will focus on training to make us safer and more skilled riders (on-bike courses)  Rider Education will continue to focus on teaching us Life Saving Skills (MFA, CPR/First Aid)  They will continue to educate us and the motoring public about motorcyclists (Motorist Awareness)

Significant Changes  Membership Enhancement will focus on the FUN stuff that they do  Couple of the Year  Public Relations  Newsletters  Chapter of the Year  Recruiting and Retention FUN Having FUN

Significant Changes  ALL University Trainers are in the University effective September 4, 2015  Within 90-days (target date), all University Trainers will have access to ALL seminars  By the end of the year (target date), Region Trainers will know who their training faculty is

Significant Changes  UTDP will be revised  Single Certification…when certified to present a seminar, the University Trainer can present all the seminars  Current University Trainers will be able to present all seminars presently available

Significant Changes  The curriculum is changing… – Some informational seminars will remain – Interactive, outcome-based seminars being added  Curriculum will be designed to address different training levels and needs

Significant Changes  Just as in any college or university setting there are graduated courses, for example: 100 – General Membership 200 – Chapter Officers 300 – District Officers 400 – Region Officers 500 – National Officers

Significant Changes  New Training Levels: Presenter Trainer Coach

Significant Changes  All current University Trainers, Senior University Trainers, and Master University Trainers will be grouped into the Presenter Level Presenter

Significant Changes  Current Senior University Trainers and Master University Trainers will be able to present a higher level seminar Presenter

Significant Changes  Region Trainers are tasked to identify current Senior and Master University Trainers for additional training to advance to the next level Presenter Trainer

Additional Changes  Position Descriptions have been written for every officer position in GWRRA  A NEW University website AND database will be rolled out soon  Eventually all transactions within the University will be PAPERLESS  The Quarterly Training Report will become obsolete

Additional Changes  The LTP Tri-Fold will be discontinued * * Ed still has a lot of these available….
