Functional Vision Assessment Training and Information Event 1 in 3 people with a learning disability have a sight problem. Many people may be living with sight problems that have been undiagnosed or unnoticed by those who support them.  SeeAbility’s Functional Vision Assessment pack has been designed to be undertaken by carers and support staff. It is an excellent starting point for recognising sight problems and for accessing specialist support and eye care services for people with learning disabilities and profound and multiple disabilities. Come and learn how to use this valuable resource Wednesday 10th November 2010 12.30 – 4.30pm St George’s Centre, Leeds (10-15 minute walk from Leeds train station) Limited places are available at £40 per person (including refreshments and course material).
