To qualify for State Competition you must: 1. Make proficiency in your District event. 2. Comply with all PCHS Districts Rules. 3. Complete a Written Event project – Due Jan 4. Submit all payments/registration on time. 5. Be in good academic/behavioral standings in your classes.

 You will compete in TWO events at State Conference  Role play AND written event  Less popular events = better chance of winning!  One event will be written the other will be a tested event(Role- play, Professional Selling, Marketing Rep Papers)  You CAN Compete in a Marketing Representative Paper and a Role Play but the test must be the same.  Check the DECA Event Guidelines for details of Participant #  competitive-events/a competitive-events/a

 ENI papers are only for 1 st year Freshmen/Sophomore competitors  Google Form will be posted for sign up. Must register by December 18 th  Check pcdeca.com for Written Event Templates – USE THESE TEMPLATES!!!!!!  Poorly constructed/formatted written events will NOT be accepted.

Written Event Deadlines: 1 st Paper Deadline – Tuesday Jan 12 th If you want your paper reviewed FINAL Paper Deadline – Monday Jan 18 th Papers will be submitted to Rm 2518 Money and Registration Forms Due Friday Jan 22nd
