The Factory Club was built in the 1960s. The building was supposed to be a cultural and social centre for the workers.
However, the Factory Club was a centre for cultural and social events for the whole region, not only for the workers.
The building was used for an amateur theatre, a puppet theatre, a snooker club, and many more activities. For example popular balls took place there.
GUSTAV KLIMENT ( ) He was a Czech communist and a trade unionist, a Czechoslovakian legionary, a prisoner at the Dachau concentration camp. The biggest shoe factory in Třebíč hold his name during the Communist era. August 9, 1972 – the statue of Gustav Kliment was erected in the Dělnické Square.
The building is used as a furniture shop nowadays.
