Help the Homeless Week What did I learn? How did helping the homeless make me feel?

Our visit from Phil

Even the rain did not stop us! £35.68 donated

Just look at how well we did…

J o sh I learnt that people on the streets have been through a lot and you should only give them things if you are with an adult. You should not laugh at them because they are not as fortunate as you. Help the homeless made me feel what people have been going through because I used to think that they had just been kicked out there home but they’ve been through a lot more. They might have been threatened on the streets and they are cold and scared. Not just living not in there home.

I learned how to create a table on excel and now I know how to use power point lots more. I have been proud of myself because we collected more than 500 tins so this will help Aquila Way. Daniel W

I have learned how to make better ict work on power point, with much better colours and effects. I am proud of myself for making a really good power point to persuade people to bring in food and tins. Claudia

I have learned how to organize stuff and better ICT skills. I now know how to do fly ins on a computer. I felt helpful and happy with all the food and toiletries people have brought in to help the homeless. Mia

I have learned that it is good to help people less fortunate as us, I have also learned how to make things pop up on the screen and also put in timings. I felt really happy to see all of the food that everybody had bring in to Help the Homeless. Carly

I have learnt to help other people through life much more and to use PowerPoint more accurately. I felt really happy seeing all of the food that everybody had brought in for the homeless. Morgan

I have learnt that I can persuade people to help other’s in our community, in different situations. I feel that anything can happen if you help each other and believe. Mariah

I learnt how to use my ICT skills better. I am feeling very proud because I have achieved something to be proud of. Thomas M

I felt really proud to think that, I am making someone in the world smile. I have learnt that not everyone in the world is as fortunate as us. Chris

I am extremely proud that I have made such a difference. I have learnt that it doesn’t mean you're not homeless if you sleep in a friends house. Thomas J

I have learnt that I can make a difference Owen Y I am extremely proud that I have made a big difference

Well Done and Thank You! To all of the children, families and staff who supported our project.
