09/25/09JLoima From theory to practice…Subject Teacher Education/Teachers’ Pedagogical Studies, 60 ETCS COMMON FRAMEWORK In Helsinki, the Subject Teacher Education is organised in cooperation with the Dept. of Applied Sciences of Education, University Teacher Training Schools, several other Faculties of the University as well as with the Sibelius Academy, the University of Arts and Design Helsinki (Aalto University), and the Academy of Performing Arts Subject teachers for lower/upper secondary schools/vocational schools/adult education have a degree in their own faculties, with the subject of instruction as their major. Qualified teachers (for permanent teaching posts) must complete TPS (60 ETCS)
