Presentation transcript:

By: Jonny Malley, and Jack Laslo.

In our home office, we have the following restrictions: -We have $ to make the office and buy the items for the office. -The office is 10 by 12 ft big. -All items must be Ergonomically friendly.

-Desk -Chair -Mouse -Computer Monitor. -Keyboard. -ALL ARE ERGONOMIC -

The ergonomic keyboard we will be buying is the “Microsoft® Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000” from Staples. The price is $56.44 with tax. We think this effective is because we feel it is efficient as an ergonomic keyboard in our home office. The way it is designed is good because it relaxes one’s wrist, and reducing the chances of getting hurt. If it is arched, it could increase the chance of getting conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome.

The chair we will be buying is also from staples, and it is called the “Staples® Ergonomic High-Back Multi-Tilt Chair, Carbon.” The price is with tax. We chose this chair because it has lumbar support, and an adjustable effect to make your back comfy. With a hard chair, you can hurt your back. This chair also corrects bad posture.

The mouse we are buying is from Staples, and it is called “Razer DeathAdder Essential Ergonomic Gaming Mouse “ It cost’s $79.08 with tax. The reason we are buying this mouse is because it is easier to use than an Ergonomic joy stick, and it has a good grip with a comfy feel added to it.

We are buying the computer monitor from staples, and it is called the “Acer® G276HL 27" LED Monitor ”. It cost’s $ with tax. We are buying this computer monitor because it has a quick respons(6ms response) and it is 27 display. It would be very useful in an ergonomic office.

The desk we are buying for our home office is from and it cost’s $ We are buying this because it is the shape of a crescent, so we can have more room to put work on, and it allows our ergonomic items to work with the desk in unison

1. Having set office hours 2. Using a work dedicated phone 3. Keeping Time/Hanging a Clock in your home office

Having set office hours will help you stay focused and productive. It will also help with clients knowing when you are available for business

Using a dedicated work phone will heavily benefit the appearance and reputation of your business. Using your home phone for work could question the legitimacy of your business

The importance of having a clock is surprisingly important. When working from home, it is easy to forget about time. You need to remember to stay in your work hours and remember to call it a day.

In conclusion, those are the components of our ergonomic home office design. The total cost will be $ and we have $ remaining.
