ARTS EDUCATION 2015 Achievements – Served 1,335 teachers through professional development – Poetry Out Loud – 41 schools, 25 school districts, and 5,859 students, an increase of 13.5% student participation. – AE facilitates judging for Utah PTA Reflections Program. Utah students received eight Awards of Merit and nine Awards of Excellence at the national competition. More than any other state in the nation! 2015 POL State Finals

COMMUNITY OUTREACH 2015 Achievements – Held 11 local arts agency meetings throughout the state – Change Leader Institute: Twenty-nine Change Leaders certified this year bringing the total to over 200 Idaho and Colorado have initiated the Change Leader program based on Utah’s model NASAA chose to host its national leadership meeting in Utah because of Change Leader 2014 Change Leader Institute

VISUAL ARTS 2015 Achievements – Entire Folk Arts Collection has been properly boxed and conserved. – Traveling Exhibits had 72 showings of 19 exhibits at 50 venues in 21 counties with 105,011 viewers. – In partnership with the Road Home, 112 works of unclaimed art were placed with residents of Palmer Court.
