Roman Catholic church in Prievidza. Construction of the church started in 1666 and the church was finished in the first half of 18th century. It was designed by Italian architect Biberelli.

Parish Church of St. Bartholomew the Apostle located at 10 Pribina Square. The original Gothic church was constructed at the end of the 14th century. It was remodelled in the 17th century and expanded. During the 19th and 20th centuries, the church was restored several times. A point of interest is the sundial on the church’s exterior.

Roman Catholic Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. This Late Romanesque church was erected around 1260 on the site of a hill fort on St. Mary’s Hill. It now stands on the grounds of the city cemetery. The Carmelites remodelled it and established a monastery there. The church was modified several times up to the 19th century.

This historical monument dominates the Square of Liberty. Erected in 1739, it was carved from stone by the sculptor Dionýz Stanetti. On the front face is a relief of St. Rosalie. Statutes of the archangels stand on three spiralling falcons. In 1992 – 1995, this monument was completely restored at the city’s expense.
