Furrow/verb Definition: To make wrinkles or grooves Sample sentence: The farmer furrowed the ground with his tractor so that he could plant his crops.

Heedless/adjective Definition: Disregarding, thoughtless, careless, unmindful Sample sentence: He walked on heedless of the signs warning about the mine field.

Illustrious/adjective Definition: Notably outstanding, famous Sample sentence: I was impressed by the illustrious group of people at the fundraiser because several of them were well known movie stars.

Infamous/adjective Definition: Having a reputation of the worst kind, vicious, notoriously bad Sample sentence: The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor was an infamous act.
