Super woman THE-OUT-OF-TIME-WOMAN

STRESS AND THE WORKING WOMAN RELAX! IT’S JUST STRESS! “NO ONE TAKES MY STRESS SERIOUSLY ”

PHASES IN A WOMAN’S LIFE

 Be realistic  Never bring work home.  Do not over schedule yourself.  Do not be a closet competitor.  Learn to assign or divide duties.  Be specific about the type of work you like.  Communicate and be a patient listener.  “ME” time.  De-stress before you reach home.

Don’t wait for smiles and laughs to come to you –make them happen

THE WORKING MOTHER  I feel like I am always working.  I am always trying to be the perfect mother.  Saying ‘no’ is the hardest thing.  Co-ordinating everyone’s time schedules drives me crazy.  My husband thinks holiday means watching TV.  I don’t think I exist for the world.  I feel unappreciated by my family.  I frequently forget what work I started.  I think other people’s opinions are more valid than mine.

A mother’s work is never done THE WORKING WOMAN ALWAYS HAS “A SECOND SHIFT”

PRACTICAL TIPS  Buy more clothes.  Preserve yourself and hire help.  Find private time.  Play.  Listen to music.  Healthy diet.  Keep lists.  Limit useless stuff.
