APICS Website Tutorial

Searching is easy with the new search function, which appears on every page. Shop APICS is accessible from here and is linked on the top left of every page. This section features live feeds of what is happening on Supply Chain Channel, events, and other social media. Rotating, relevant homepage copy that can be changed to reflect new products, events, etc. Login box is on every page, as well as quick links to our social media sites.

Most recent articles from APICS magazine and events can be found here. The new navigation is more relevant and easier to understand. Careers, Education and Certification will contain everything you need to help you with your career; information on certification, finding jobs, taking courses, etc. Easy and visible access to research and publications, education and certification and Supply Chain Channel. Once members log in, “Member Benefits” will change to “My APICS” where they can view their profile.

This section will contain all APICS publications, such as research reports, folios, APICS magazine, e-newsletters, etc. Everything that users need to get and stay informed.

This section will connect users to the APICS online community. SCC, partner and event finder, social networks and member benefits can all be found here.

When a user uses the Search function, the dictionary definition (if there is one) of their search will appear at the top of the results page. Search results are sorted by relevance based on the search term used. This content filter key allows users to filter their search results by type of document.

The bottom navigation will allow users to quickly find the section of the website they are looking for, and gives a breakdown of what is in the headers in the top navigation.

The Shop APICS home page features a rotating banner of featured products, as well as a list of our featured products along with a search. APICS customers can save items to buy later and view their APICS order history if they are logged in.

Searching on Shop APICS provides a list of products containing the search term. The Shop APICS quick links will appear on the right hand side of each Shop APICS page, as will the featured products.

The featured products page contains a list of products that is changeable based on which products we would like to push or are relevant for the time of year, real-world application, etc.
