What is a presentation? n A collection of slides relating to the same topic which may be shown while an oral report is given.
Print Options n Slides – prints individual slides n Handouts – prints “smaller” slides with 1-4, 6, or 9 slides per page
Print Options cont. n Notes pages- displays speaker’s notes pages n Outline view – displays the slide text in a notebook page layout to give an overview of the content of the presentation
Print options example
Views n Slide View - default, allows you to see a single slide on screen. Use this view to edit or modify the presentation. n Outline View - displays slide text in a notebook page layout to give an overview of the content of a presentation. Use this view to organize the presentation.
Views cont. n Slide Sorter View - allows you to see miniature copies of your slides on screen so that you can see the flow of the presentation. Use this view to move, copy, and delete slides. n Notes Page View - allows you to display speaker’s note pages for each slide.
Views cont. n Slide Show View - allows you to see your slides as an on-screen presentation. n Change the view by clicking on the appropriate button on the bottom left of the presentation window.
