Working Session on Commissioning Process May 7, 2003 New Orleans

2 Tasks At Hand §We have three hours to l move from uncertainty to more certainty §We need to try to determine: l what you want the commissioning to achieve l What needs to be improved l Characteristics of the Pilot project

3 Schedule: 12:00 to 3:00 12:00 pmGeneral Working Session During Lunch 1:00 pmPilot Project 1:45 pmBreak 2:00 pmWhat should Design or Project Intent Document Achieve? 2:20 pmWhat tools do we need? 2:45 pmSummary and Feedback 3:00 pmAdjourn (other topics we want to discuss?)

4 Although we need to get a good start on feedback in the next 3-hours, it may only be a good start. What needs should be considered and data developed for successful implementation of a strategic change to using the CxP on DOE Super ESPCs. After the interviews and a draft is develop, the Cx Group may want to take 1-2 days to firm the CxP for Super ESPC. The objective would be to insure we have consensus and the process will be beneficial the first time it is used.

5 Working Session Ground Rules and Roles §As always, all ideas and suggestions are valid §Frequently a “unrelated suggestion or idea” leads to the best concept or something really innovative and useful §There will be time for short silent thinking before the each open question session §You role is to insure we develop something you can “live with” or taking us back to ‘reality’
