Some Initial AAI Requirements 1.Security (we have sensitive datasets) Level of assurance (LoA) some day we may come and ask audits too 2. Scalability (no need to talk to individual IdPs) Seamless uniform service (no differences between IDFs w.r.t. opt-in, attributes…) Good coverage of R&HE (also beyond EU) Cloud AA (i.e. non-web)

Are the Requirements Met? NO -LoA -Scalability -Seamless uniform service -Good coverage of R&HE -Cloud AA (non-web) We want a seamless service, not a (SAML2 metadata delivery) infrastructure (whose sensible use we must figure out by ourselves)

Are the Requirements Met? YES - eduGAIN is a good start but more work together with the research communities needed
