 Cervical radiculopathy caused by spondylotic foraminal stenosis may require surgical treatment. Surgical options include anterior cervical foraminotomy and fusion or posterior cervical foraminotomy.  The surgical approach is subject to controversy since treatment decisions are predominantly made by the individual surgeon's preference and skill.  38 patients were treated by posterior cervical foraminotomy from January 2013 through December 2014 in the hospital.  M : 22 F: 16  1 level : 34 2 level : 4  The average operation time Level 1 : 54 minutes 2 level : 78 minute Method & results

 Based on Vas score before the operation and two weeks after the operations, outcomes were classified as excellent, good, fair and poor.  34 patients were observed as excellent, 4 patients as good and there was no case of fair and poor outcomes.  No complication post operatively Method & results

 Excellent surgical results were obtained from conducting posterior cervlcal foraminotomy to patients with spondylotic cervical foraminal stenosis. Comparing with ACDF, the posterior cervical foraminotomy is cost-effective and has an advantage of preserving motions in segment. Conclusion
