Low-e Storm Windows Update At the last meeting, the RTF approved the measure with some changes to the savings calculations/inputs – Removing cooling savings – Adding the “93/96” closed storm window adjustment factor – Adding a 10% infiltration reduction Results: – Savings changed by a maximums of +/- 3% – Two measures applications are now cost-effective HZ 2, Single Pane, Wood Frame, Heat Pump Heating Systems HZ 3, Double Pane, Metal Frame, Zonal/DHP Heating Systems 3 – Low-e Storm Windows

LEDs for Display Cases Update At the last meeting, the RTF approved the measure with some changes: – Retain the new case measure identifier using a 15% current practice market share of linear fluorescents – Update the RUL to 5 years 4 – LEDs for Display Cases

LED for Display Case Energy Savings 5 LED for Display Case These savings go away after 5 years (RUL) These savings persist through the EUL No change in first year energy savings for retrofit measures. Early retirement savings now last for 5 years instead of 1 due to RUL update First year savings

LED for Display Case Incremental Cost 6 LED for Display Case No change to proposed first year incremental cost = $22/ foot Total Cost over EUL of measure is $12 – PV Cost of current practice installation over EUL of measure = $ 10 – Cost changed when RUL of Linear Fluorescent was increased to 5 years – Previous cost over EUL was $7

LED for Display Case Cost Benefit (TRC) Results 7 LED for Display Case Retrofit measures still cost effective after RUL update! New Case measures not cost effective due to high penetration of LED in Current Practice
