Design Brief Problem Statement (What is the problem that your teacher has given you to solve?): We were given the problem to solve of the worlds global energy crisis, And will try to create a wind turbine that will generate energy. Design Statement (How are you going to solve this problem? Include the process you are going to take to solve the given problem) : We will design a set of blades and attach them to our wind turbine, which will be tested to see how fast it will spin and how much energy it will generate.
Design Brief Constraints (What you can and cannot do/use.): We can use: Balsa wood, Chloroplast, Cardboard or Tubes. We can’t use: Metal, PVC, Sharpened Pieces of any object. Deliverables (What materials and items you need to solve this problem) We will need one of the 4 blade materials from the list, Dowels, Masking tape or Hot glue, Wind tower and a fan.
