Majora Carter: Greening the Ghetto To understand the components of an Action Plan, you will be watching a video of a presentation given by Majora Carter, an environmental and community activist from South Bronx in New York City.

While watching the video, keep these questions in mind: What kind of information is she presenting and what stories is she telling? How did she follow through and make things happen? What was her action plan?

Carter was an Olympic torchbearer in San Francisco, but when she tried to display a Tibetan flag during her run, the Chinese police and the SFPD expelled her from the relay.
