The Ninja Turtles where normal turtles that fell into slime and mutated into humanoids. While Spiderman was bitten by a radioactive spider and then he received the powers of a spider. You need to learn about both animals to see what advantages and disadvantages each one has. Then you will be able to see who has the most positive qualities. This is going to help you learn about two animals that other wise you would not no anything about.

Task Home Home Home Introduction Introduction Introduction Process Process Process Resources Resources Resources Conclusion Conclusion Conclusion Rubric Rubric Rubric You and two other students will have to look up information on both animals and figure some information on them. Your group will have to see how each animal defends itself and what offensive capabilities they have. This will help you see how well these animals would do in a fight. Also you need to learn about the animal’s diet and sleeping pattern. The diet will be useful because you need to know what the animal eats so when you choose what hero you want to be you will not starve. The sleeping pattern will be useful to know because some animals are active during the day and some during the night. It will help out if you are a day or night person. Also you will need to find out at least two more interesting facts about each animal to help you decide and once you do make a decision you will need to say why you choose that hero.

Process Home Home Home Introduction Introduction Introduction Task Task Task Resources Resources Resources Conclusion Conclusion Conclusion Rubric Rubric Rubric Your group will need to look at websites for information to answer the questions in the task and to find two more facts about each animal. Then you will need to look at all the information you have gathered on each animal and separate it into positive and negative aspects for each. Now that you can see for both animals all the positive and negative things about it you can now make an educated decision about which superhero that you would like to be and why you choose that one. Your group will need to write out the positive and negative aspects of each animal and then atleast a paragraph discussing why you chose that superhero. On the resource page it will have some links to help you get started with your group’s search for these answers. One is to learn about animals that you might not other wise learn things about. Next it is to help you work in group and get things done. Third it is to help you organize your writing into an organized idea. Last, but most important it is to help you critically think and evaluate your ideas. You looked at information then you and your group had to critically think about the information you gathered and formulate an opinion. Here is a link to our class blog where you need to post your work and can look at the other groups information. You will need to respond to one other groups work. First I will use a different rubric scale to take in their special needs. Also I will make the groups such that they will receive a role that suits the student’s special needs. Next I will make sure that during the assignment the student will receive any help they need. It might be more detailed description of the assignment or help finding the information they need to collect to complete the assignment. Self-Evaluation Home Home Home Teacher Resource Page Teacher Resource Page Teacher Resource Page Teacher Resource Page Modification Plan Modification Plan Modification Plan Modification Plan Objectives Objectives Objectives My lesson plan addresses the criteria on P3 and P4 checklist. My lesson plan is student centered. Also it does not centered around the student just researching information, but instead is trying to get the student to critically think about the information they found and make a decision using that information. The assignment is to have the students think for themselves and come up with reasons why they would choose that particular superhero. By choosing a superhero it gets the students attention and when students are involved with something they enjoy it does not seem like learning. The websites that I gave the students to start out with in there research are well organized and have information that will help them. These websites are starting places where they will need to figure out for them selves to find more information that will help them think about what is good information and what is bad information.
