Create and Practice and Emergency Evacuation Plan Create a map of your home Identify Two exits from each room Identify a central meeting point to make sure everyone is out of the house Call for emergency help (911) or your local fire department if you do not have 911 service in your area Practice your Emergency Evacuation Plan at least twice a year Watch this video “Doofus Dan”Doofus Dan”

Smoke Alarms In Your Home You should have smoke alarms in every room You should have smoke alarms outside of every sleeping area in your home You should have smoke alarms on every level of your home including the basement Test your smoke alarms every month Change the batteries in your smoke alarms every year
