2 PALANHAR A foster parenting programme for Children in need of CARE Orphan children who have lost mother and father, or where the mother is dead and father is serving a life sentence, or vice versa. For widowed mothers who are eligible for destitute pension, one child will provided an amount of Rs. 675 per month up to15 years.

3 WHO CAN BE PALANHAR A person who is Grandfather/ Grandmother/Uncle or any near relative who is ready to keep and care for orphan child. A Good Social Worker or NGO or Neighbor.

4 ASSISTANCE PROVIDED TO PALANHAR Financial assistance of Rs. 500 per month for child up to 5 years. It is mandatory to attend Anganwadi Centre, where child will get health and nutrition support. Rs. 675 per month after the age of 5 years till 15 years, with a mandatory condition that child will attend school. Annual grant of Rs is provided for Books, Stationery, School Dress and miscellaneous expenses.
