IGNEOUS

Formed from melted rock Three types of igneous rocks: Diorite- large crystals Andesite- small crystals Pumice- blasts from top of volcano.

SEDIMENtary

Formed from layers of natural material The Grand Canyon is mostly sedimentary. Layers can repeat.

Formed by changing one type of solid rock into another. This is known as metamorphism.
