THE ACT The Scores indicate college readiness by indicating the strengths and weaknesses in the subject areas tested. Colleges ask: Will this student be successful in this school? Will this student have a good chance of completing the degree program (2 or 4 years)?

The ACT It is important to know that college readiness is a continuum, and students who score below the ACT Benchmark may still be successful in college, especially with additional preparation and perservance.

The ACT Readiness for College can be improved by: Taking rigorous courses Implementing proven study techniques Making good grades in each course

The ACT Results are used for State Accountability which means Beddingfield High School will be measured in part by how well the students perform on the ACT. Parents, students and the school are all stakeholders in ACT testing.
