Basic Policies (draft) Report #: KEK report # and GDE report #. Most likely FNAL, INFN #s, too. Akira is the GDE contact during this authoring process. This is a technical report on what we did and learned at S1G. – Not a report to assess our future prospects for detailed engineering of ILC. – If someone wants to analyze such issues, this report gives technical contents that can be provided from the standpoint of S1G experience. On technical statements and conclusions: – All who participated in the S1G can / should participate in discussion on equal footing. – Actual editorial process would be managed by the editorial G. Toge is the chief editor ( someone to complain to if something is wrong). 5
Schedule (draft) Basically – something electro-sharable in Fall, 2011? – Discussion at, for instance TTC in Beijing – Follow-up work – Publication in early 2012 (?) More specifically – July Form the editorial group. Draft the rough outline of the report. Assign writing duties – Aug Develop the detailed outline and draft conclusions. Some interactions – Sep Writing, prepare figures, illustrations etc – Oct Editor-Author interactions – Nov First round of editorial assembly Draft Document – Dec Discussion, for instance, at the TTC meeting in Beijing Follow-up – Jan Finalization + publication, mostly electronically, but also possibly in paper. … if we can agree ; can you? 6
Relation with TTC in Beijing (Dec. Session Report S1G results, if they are considered fit. Q&A as found adequate In Beijing but separated from TTC Plans on follow-up activities after Dec Final editorial process of the S1G writeup. Important A.Yamamoto (GDE PM) has talked to O.Napoly (TTC Chair) in May – June, and they have agreed concerning the outline, in principle.
