A bad example…

And when he was in the house he asked them, “What were you discussing on the way?” But they kept silent, for on the way they had argued with one another about who was the greatest. And he sat down and called the twelve. And he said to them, “If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.” Mark 9:33–35

1.As we receive blessings, we are to bless others, not just to keep for ourselves. 2.Our serving others should come out of a relationship of love with God, not being forced to do it. 3.As we serve others we are to humble ourselves, considering ourselves servants of others. 4.Rulers are not to oppress but to serve and protect.
