What is bullying? Can we come up with a class definition? STOP Definition: Several Times On Purpose

Different types and ways of bullying What are the different types of bullying?

Situations You are going to be given pieces of card with different situations on them. In your groups you will need to decide whether or not the situations are examples of bullying or not. Place them in two different piles. Explore each statement and make sure you can give reasons for where you have placed the cards.

What do you think? Each group is going to be given a different question. You will need to discuss it and prepare to share your answer with the class. Group 1: What would you do if you were being bullied? Group 2: What would you do if your friend was being bullied? Group 3: Is there a way to stop bullying? Group 4: Is bullying a natural part of life? Group 5: If parents taught their children not to bully would bullying stop happening?

Plenary Is this what defines bullying? Write a reflective answer in your books. Use examples to develop your points. STOP Definition: Several Times On Purpose
