Mr. Viderman Earth Science

 Mr. Viderman: What have you been working on?  Sebastian: This technology activity. I don’t really understand why the ice is almost all under water but only a small part of it is floating. So is it sinking or floating?

 Mr. Viderman: What is the density of ice according to this activity?  Sebastian: 0.92g/mL  Mr. Viderman: So will something that has a density that is less than 1.0g/mL sink or float?  Sebastian: Float.  Mr. Viderman: But why is it barely floating?  Sebastian: Is it because 0.92g/mL is close to 1.0g/mL  Mr. Viderman: Exactly!
