Most Relevant Priorities of EUSDR PA7: To develop the Knowledge Society (research, education and ICT) By 2020 To invest 3% of GDP in research and development To increase the number of patents obtained in the Region by 50% To reach 20% of academic mobility Greater share of EU population between with tertiary education – aiming towards 40% Broadband access to all EU citizens in the region by 2013 PA8: To support the competitiveness of enterprises To establish cluster network for EUSDR To improve vocational training subject to participation by the private sector To improve technology transfer Better use of environmental technologies

How to achieve these goals?
