OUI/NON Yes/No questions may be formed using:  EST-CE QU(E) at the beginning of a statement  Est-ce que tu connais Jean-Claude?  N’EST-CE PAS at the end of a statement  INTONATION –making your voice go UP at the end of a statement.  INVERSION—Reversing the order of a subject and a verb*  Vas-tu au mariage de Sylvie et Éric?  *Remember that inversion is not done into a proper noun—only into pronouns
