In Spite Of These Similarities Ruth And Orpah In Spite Of These Similarities Their responses to the reality of their situations were quite different! Orpah: Ruth 1:11-14 Why go to a foreign land when you could stay with the familiar? Ruth: Ruth 1:14-18 She was willing to face whatever might come her way.

Ruth’s Request To Stay… Ruth And Orpah Ruth’s Request To Stay… Ruth 1:16-18 – When Ruth begged to stay with Naomi, she was pledging much! Faithfulness to Naomi Loyalty to Israel, forsaking Moab! Loyalty to God, forsaking Moabite idols! Her “burial grounds” were forsaken!
