Cochran Tethered Diving Telemetry Lifeguard Hoseless, Wireless, Gas Integrated System The Lifeguard System consists of two parts: a Cylinder mounted CPU Unit and at least one peripheral. The CPU Unit typically has a powerful processor, sophisticated firmware, numerous sensors, and an omnidirectional data transmitter. It is powered by two redundant, user- replaceable batteries with a typical life in excess of one year. The peripheral Units typically have a powerful processor, sophisticated firmware, a Display, and an omnidirectional data receiver. It is powered by a single, user- replaceable battery with a typical life in excess of one year. ALL dive data measured and computed by the CPU Unit are burst-transmitted once per second over a proprietary link to the receiver in any peripheral within range that has the proper ID number.

It provides a user friendly method to view the massive amount of Configuration, Statistical, Graphical, and historical information stored in Cochran Lifeguard Dive Computers. Some unique features include the ability to enter Owners Information and a Gas Mixing Utility. Cochran’s Analyst ® PC software Generation 5 is compatible with all Generation 5 Cochran Dive Computers currently in production. It will function on Windows OS from XP through Windows 10.
