All other product or service names are the property of their respective owners. © Motorola, Inc Motivation The deployment of base station for m will be a big problem, for the worry about the radio radiation  The transmit power per sector may be up to 49dBm for 20MHz (43dBm/5MHz in WCDMA)bandwidth and 56dBm for 100MHz bandwidth, which is so large that is becoming a threat to human health.  When MIMO with multiple streams used, the radiation will even be doubled ore tripled  In china, the TD-SCDMA trial network is delayed partly due to the obstacle of BS address selection, concerned by real estate owner. The distributed nodes cellular systems (DNCS) is an effective solution to the problem of large transmit power.

All other product or service names are the property of their respective owners. © Motorola, Inc The concept of DNCS The DNCS consists of a central BS and several distributed nodes (Node A) Node A: Up/Down-frequency-convert, AD/DA; (Radio over Fiber…) Central BS: Joint digital signal processing Benefit:  Shorter radio access distance --> Lower transmitting power!  High power efficiency Especially at hot spots, Where fiber is available and Radiation is more seriously Concerned  To boost the practical throughput and frequency efficiency of each cell in high user density areas, with the joint signal processing.  By overcoming the problem of frequency reuse and mutual interference

All other product or service names are the property of their respective owners. © Motorola, Inc Conclusion and Text proposal to m SDD There are several abstractive features in DNCS:  The capability of DNCS in data capacity and user capacity can be smoothly extended by adding new Node A, so it is feasible to increase the capacity of the cellular system after the Base station has been set up.  Emitting power can be significantly reduced by using DNCS via reducing access distance between subscriber and access antennas. [ The following text proposal is suggested by this contribution: The system architecture of cellular system with distributed nodes (Node A) connected with base station via dedicated links, (e.g., wired fiber or wireless), i.e. DNCS, should be involved in SDD. ]
