Flowers are beautiful specimens of our world and we should appreciate them: their appearance, and their process in the environment

Stems Stems are used for: Support for and the elevation of leaves and flowers The stems keep the leaves in the light Transport of fluids between the roots and the shoots in the xylem and phloem Storage of nutrients

Petals Petals are used for: the petal is used to attract pollinators Pollinators, such as bees, carry the pollen from the flower that attracted them to another flower One can also cook and create Potpourri from some Rose Petals

Structures within a leaf convert the energy in sunlight into chemical energy that the plant can use as food Leaves when shredded can be used as mulch for ones garden helping to fertilize plants There are also many leaves that have medical qualities in them causing them to be used in medicines and other antibiotics.
