Welcome to Good Reading Online (GRO). Part 3 of this tutorial will show you how to browse the archive of past magazines as well as perform keyword searches through current and past issues. Archives By clicking the ‘ARCHIVE’ button on the toolbar, you can easily search the back-issues of GRO. Click and hold the slide bar at the bottom of the screen to look at the cover thumbnails of each issue. Thumbnail display of archived issues. Slide Bar

Archives When you see the issue you want, click on the cover graphic and it will appear on the screen. You can start browsing immediately. Thumbnail display of archived issues.

Keyword search Enter your keyword in the search area on the toolbar and click on the magnifying glass to complete the search. The initial search shows results found in the issue you have open. Click your chosen link to complete the search across the entire archive of issues. Search Results Search field To search the full archive click here.

Search results Results are displayed with their page number, and the issue in which they appear, as a title. Underneath this, you will see a section of text that relates to your search. Use the slide-bar to scroll through the results. By clicking on any of these search results, you’ll be taken to the keyword location within the issue. Slide Bar Search Results

Search results You are now looking at the exact location of the selected search result within the issue in which it appears. The highlighted area on the screen is where the search result appears. Now you can click to zoom, turn pages, view table of contents, print and perform any other function within GRO. Highlighted results on the screen.
