Rising Action Things begin to build up Many different issues or events occur Can be directly related to the inciting incident Think of it like domino’s being knocked over DBS: The narrator tests his theory, considers what to do, plays the word QUAKE.
Climax The point of no return. After the Climax, things cannot go completely back to the way things were The major event of conflict is solved or finished DBS: The narrators wife plays the word DEATH
Falling Action Everything begins to fall into place Questions are answered Closure beings DBS: An earthquake begins, the narrator begins to choke on his tile and falls
