Of Mice And Men Friendship

George And Lennie George and Lennie have a very good friendship. They look after each other George is a tall man but is quit small in weight. Lennie is a large man but has something wrong with him that means he is not able to be on his own without hurting himself or some one else. George and Lennie's relationship can be seen in many different ways. George is Lennie's caretaker, father figure, and brother. George is a man of principle. He promised Aunt Clara he would take care of Lennie. No matter how impatient or angry George gets, he always forgives Lennie for his wrongdoings.

Candy And His Dog Candy and his dogs relationship is like George and Lennie's. candy is George and his dog is Lennie candy and his dog are like Lennie and George because candy has to take care of his dog and George has to take care of Lennie. Candy's dog was shot one of the guys who stayed in the house convinced Candy to let him put the dog out of his misery. Candy later regretted not taking the responsibility himself. “I ought to of shot that dog myself George I shouldn’t ought of let no stranger shoot my dog”.that stuck with George.

George helping lennie When Candy's dog got shot candy says some thing that stuck it with George so when lennie kills Curlys wife and lennie runs away so no one else kills lennie George goes looking for him when he finds he talks to him about the land they were going to get and the rabbits Lennie was going to tend as Lennie is talking he becomes very happy and when he is happy George shoots him in the back of the head. So that he creates an image of the land and its an example of heaven.
