Catching the Big Fish reading is fishing!

When One reads only the surface

one cast a line into shallow waters, so ….

One snags only tiny fish

One understands only the most basic of meanings. The most common idea expressed by the author.

Reading is the peeling of onions, layers of interpretation.

As one cannot build strong bodies on sardines and minnows.

One cannot build a sharp mind on literal level writings such as comic books.

To catch the big fish a successful reader casts their fishing line into deep water To catch the big fish a successful reader casts their fishing line into deep water.

Because that is where big fish dwell!

when one yearns for substance it is time for when one yearns for substance it is time for The big fish

Time for Deeper Meaning

Read deep, find meaning and substance in literature and in the writings that communicate ideas.
