Objectives Development of the NODC in Turkey Create a tool for increasing collaborations between scientists in Turkey and in the region

National Oceanographic Data Inventory In order to establish National Oceanographic Information Centers (NOICs) National Oceanographic Data Management Committee (NODMC) formed. NODMC Members: Department of Nav., Hydrogr. and Oceanography, Turkish Navy, DEÜ Institute of Marine Sciences and Technology, Izmir EU Faculty of Aquatic Sciences, Izmir İ.Ü. Institute of Marine Sciences, Istanbul, İ.Ü. Faculty of Aquatic Sciences, Istanbul KTÜ Faculty of Marine Sciences, Trabzon OMÜ Faculty of Aquatic Sciences, Sinop General Directorate of Mineral Resources, Ankara METU Institute of Marine Sciences, Turkish Scientific and Technical Research Committee
