Goal: use TEK to create a baseline of ecological features and keystone species observations; ID areas of concerns/threats for long-term monitoring of MPA’s; inform North Coast ocean policy and adaptive management Tasks ◦ Archival research ◦ Tribal community-based participatory research Develop data survey tool Conduct in-person surveys least 60 oral histories
