Colonial Printer Responsible for making newspapers Making newspapers is a tough, painstaking process Assembling newspaper molds is the hardest part There are few newspapers in production Most colonial printers are men

Education Children who do not attend school learn from their parents The boys learn to hunt and tend to the crops and animals Girls learn to cook and take care of their families Both learned a trait from their parents Later on in life, if the children wanted to learn a new trait, they would become an apprentice to a true professional The boys help their fathers hunt and farm, while the girls help their mothers

Religion Puritans took up New England and worship in their meeting houses located in the meeting house of their towns. However, here in the middle Colonies, the people here are mostly Quakers, Catholics,or Jewish. Down in the Southern Colonies there are two main religions, Anglicans or Christians.

Daily Life and Hobbies For mothers, the day starts before dawn, when they begin their chores and cook for the family Men go to work while the children either go to school or do their chores There are chores for everyone, so there is little free time There is little time for this. There are many chores for everyone. There are a few pastimes however. The children like to play many games like Hoops. The boys also like to play a game that focuses on archery, which is an important skill.

Communication and Climate The only real way to communicate with someone is either by way of mouth, or to visit them or they visit you The climate is rather nice. Warm, but there is a lot of rain On the good days, the temperature is never above 74 degrees
