Professional Chef Wolfgang Puck TSconing and Mcoutts

Early life  Wolfgang Puck was born on January 8,  He was born in St. Viet, Austria.  As a young child Wolfgang worked at his mother’s side helping her cook.  He started formally training to be a chef at fourteen years old.

Early Life  Wolfgang Johannes Puck as a teen studied in the culinary arts in Austria.  He then moved to France to apprentice L'Ousteau de Baumaniere.  He as a very young chef worked in three of the best restaurants in France.

Major Characteristics  Wolfgang Puck opened a restaurant called Spago in California  He fused California ingredients with classic French cuisine.  The popularity of Spago increased with it’s very fashionable décor, using imaginative pizza varieties.  He focuses more of a Californian style of cooking with pizzas but also makes it fancy by putting salmon and caviar.

More Interesting Facts  Wolfgang Puck has been a chef for many special events such as the Oscar’s.  The name Wolfgang comes from Germany and means traveling wolf.  The last name Puck is an English name and means “elf”.
