Compare and contrast a Heterotroph and a Autotroph by giving an example of each type of organism and how they obtain usable energy.

Draw a basic food web of organism that exist in the area. Draw a biomass diagram that indicates the amount of biomass you think exists at each level of the pyramid.

What has more potential energy, a tertiary consumer or producer? Explain.

How can Carbon be considered both biotic and abiotic?

How does Carbon cycle between atmosphere and organisms? Explain.

Describe how Nitrogen goes from an inorganic to an organic state. Make sure to identify the organism responsible for this process.

Identify a specific example of a parasitic relationship and explain what makes it so.

A specific type of bird eats food from an alligator’s teeth. The alligators that allow this survive longer to reproduce and the birds survive due to a plentiful food source. What type of relationship is this?
