Hudson Valley Community College College Fair The Capital Area School Development Association will sponsor a Spring College Fair at HVCC on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm. Over 150 colleges will be in attendance. This is a great way to learn about a variety of schools, place yourself on numerous mailing lists, and meet with college admissions representatives. Website: We will have a bus leaving CHS at 8:30 am and returning at 11:00 am. Permission slips will be available after Spring Break.

College Application Process Complete application Online applications: submit; print copy; give copy to Mrs. Broccolo; print counselor’s & teacher’s forms; give counselor’s form to Mrs. Broccolo Paper applications: complete and give to Mrs. Broccolo Create Activities Resume Ask teachers for Letter of Recommendation Give Activities Resume & Teacher Recommendation Form to teachers & counselors for Letter of Recommendation Once all recommendations are submitted to guidance, they will be mailed to all schools applied to along with your transcript. Schools will communicate with you that all materials have not been received. These usually cross in the mail with our submission. **Don’t panic** Bring correspondence in to Mrs. Broccolo to confirm submission.
