Warm Up: SOL Practice Vocabulary Persuasion Review Videos PSA Planning Guide PSA Storyboard PSA Practice WEDNESDAY 3/11 A-DAY THURSDAY3/12 B-DAY Students will read to determine the meanings and pronunciations of unfamiliar words and phrases. Students will organize their PSA. Students will edit & revise a PSA essay. Students will read and demonstrate comprehension of a variety of nonfiction texts including understanding elements of media literacy.

WARM-UP: IN YOUR WRITER’S NOTEBOOK. Please do not write on the packets. They are a class set. 1.Re-read the first page of the packet at your desks. 2.Read the four questions that follow on the next page. 3.Answer those four questions. 4.When you are done, read silently or review vocabulary words.

 Please complete the Vocabulary Set formative.  When you are done, please turn it in to the IN BIN.  You may read silently until the entire class is finished. VOCABULARY FORMATIVE
